How verdicts work
Places Worth Seeing is run from Tulsa by one person with a car and a phone. Every place ends up with one of two answers: Worth it or Skip it.
The rules
- Every verdict comes from a real visit.
- The photos and videos are of the actual place, not AI-generated or staged.
- Every guide says who paid for the visit, including when a place hosted it.
- A sponsor can pay for coverage, but never for a verdict.
How the site makes money
Some links to hotels, tours, and gear may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored posts are labeled. A commission never changes a verdict, and a place can still get a Skip it if it pays well.
Places that don't get a verdict
Some places, such as sites of historical tragedy, aren't attractions to rate. They're marked "History, no verdict".
